The Workplace of the Vice President and Common Counsel gives authorized counsel and representation to Johns Hopkins College and all its schools, divisions, associates, and related entities on a broad range of authorized matters affecting the College. OGC helps the mission of the Faculty by providing legal advice and counsel, serving because the Faculty’s legal consultant in litigation, administrative issues, and transactions, and retaining and overseeing exterior counsel engaged on behalf of the University.
Corporate Section – Attorneys on this section present advice and counsel on a broad range of enterprise, transactional and compliance issues affecting the College. Our targets are to provide, manage and coordinate high quality authorized providers for the university; decrease legal risks and prices; cut back litigation; and promote authorized compliance.
The workplace retains, coordinates, and evaluates all exterior authorized companies so as to supply efficient and value efficient authorized providers in specialized areas. Counsel On Call will not be a legislation agency and is not engaged in the practice of law. Prior to her appointment at Yale, Sheree served as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and as outdoors counsel to several entertainment-associated companies.

The Workplace of the Normal Counsel (OGC) is liable for the coordination and administration of all authorized points affecting the College.
